Rear parking aid

My tailgate got stolen a few months back, and after replacing everything my rear parking aids stopped working. The sensors still detect objects and beep, but the warning blocks don't show up on my screen. I tried turning them off and on in the menu and even resetting the whole unit. Still nothing.

Any ideas?

You have to have the camera configured with the ids. I dont think it can be done with any other ones...

It's a direct factory replacement. I have to get it configured?

Yeah otherwise the lines will not come up. Its somethin the computer tells it to do for some reason. Any time its unplugged. Had one that drove us nuts that kept losing the lines. Finally lifted the bed cover and found a fifth wheel hitch on an f150. He'd been taking his tailgate off when towing and caused the problem.

And as far as i was referring to the ids, it is the factory ford software for diagnosis, i wasnt referring to the camera or tailgate. I dont know f aftermarket scanners, such as snap on or mac or matco will do this or not.
