Thought about it. But then the piston wouldn't touch full circle under the pin. Motor will have RCD cp3 kit on it.

Really notching the piston to clear the wheel is fine. Still way stronger than any factory piston by leaps and bounds even after notched. I am curious to see how it turns out for ya buddy!

I've never seen or heard of any pistons cracking bellow the pin anyhow. I'm also not looking at much more then 4000rpms. That being said it won't cost what y'all may think it will. I just domt want to touch my bottom end again.

My luck ill have an injector go bad.

It was done to accommodate the forged pistons that were not drop in design. Pretty sure still stock displacement.
