Reman ficm with PHP Atlas 40

So my ficm started giving me cold start issues. I purchased my truck new in 2005 and had never gave the ficm a thought until lately. I measured around 35 volts so I called ficmrepair.com and had them send me a rebuild with the atlas 40. The first start up I couldn't help but smile that the truck did not crank and roll to a start like it has the last couple years. Now it hits with authority when started like it did back in 05 before the dealer reflashes. I drove home last night in 4 wheel drive in a snow storm so I do not have a driveabilty report other than the throttle feels like it did when I drove her new out of the showroom. In the morning when it's -7 I'll see how the cold starts are. So far impressed running with a Spartan hybrid race tune.

Dave, I think your correct. It's funny how much these trucks were neutered with reflashes each time they were in for service the first few years.
