I recently had an injector go bad. The washer fell off the injector during installation which cause an o ring to go bad on the same injector. All this cause the engine to hydrolock. I took the valve covers off and removed injectors. I cranked the engine over and it shot fuel out of one cylinder and a little oil from the rest. I reinstalled the injectors and valve covers. Will this be enough to have fixed the hydrolock?

DONT START YOUR TRUCK!!!

Get under it and turn it over, both forward and backward with the crank, turn it over a good 10-15 times, after you do that you should have everything out of your cylinders, you can then start it. It might take a few min to start but just keep turning it over in about 10 second increments. This will help to not burn out your starter.

Option number 2, pull your glow plug and blow compressed air in there. Where some glasses cause it will spray all over.

Do I need to remove the glow plugs for the first option? Or can I leave everything alone and crank it by hand?

Option number one you can leave the glow plugs in, but make sure the key is in the off position and the glow plugs are not cycling.

He already took the injectors out and cranked it over to clear the cylinders. Shouldn't he be able to start it now?

I guess I read that wrong, I though he said it shot into the cylinder. You might be ok but for safe measures I would turn it over my hand a few times. IMO better safe than sorry.

And the truck sat for about a month. So I drained the oil in vase some fuel leaked into the crankcase. Do I need to prime the hpop? Or did it not sit long enough to need it?

Shouldn't have to. Change the oil and when you start it just watch your oil pressure gauge. If it comes up your good to go.

If the injectors were out and fuel shot out then you are ready to crank. you could change the oil if you believe you got fuel in the oil but other than that you are ready to rock
