So yesterday I was driving my truck with a load and I put the gear selector into 1, so it would stay in first, and then i went to accelerate and forgot i had moved the gear selector so when I went to accelerate from a stop I had noticed the truck slowed accelerating, so when I looked at the tachometer it was at 3500rmp. So my question is will the trans shift before it hits the rev limiter or did I hit the rev limiter, and if I did, did I screw anything up? My truck is bone stock too

If it is totally stock it is kind of hard to hurt anything when everything is electrically controlled by computer. I wouldn't worry about a thing
