I am going to install my dual fueler in a few weeks, when I get the motor back together. I plan on buying a new hpfp (in the factory location) and using my 114k mile pump ( reversed up front). My thinking is the older pump will be easier to replace if needed up front, if it goes out. Just not sure if its a good idea to reverse it after so many miles. What yall think?

I personally think you'll be ok Tony.
As you mentioned, it would be easy to replace since you are putting it up front.

thanks guys, my pump has always had good rp until I did the nozzle's. I have never heard anyone specify where they put the new pump when they did a df setup. I would assume the norm is putting the new one up front but not sure, as I have never seen one being installed.

Reversing the pump shouldn't hurt it and having it apart will be a good opportunity to inspect it for rust and damage

Def put the new one at the rear, new pumps aren't.flaw proof but most likely it's good
