I have a rough country lift on my truck and I can't stand how rough it rides. It's so bad I have to brace my self on every bump in the road. What are some recommendations to make it ride better that won't cost a ton of money. I was thinking switching the coils with maybe carli and getting fox shocks. Would that help? I know nothing about lifts. I had a shop put it on and I found some things out about them and I won't go back. Its a 2.5 or 3 inch lift I'm not exactly on which. I'm from ohio if anyone knows any good shops I can trust and maybe have they look at it and tell me what I should do. Should i just face the fact that i need a whole new lift or can i get parts to make it ride better? Thanks for the help.

A better quality setup would definitely help, or go ride around in a 97 single cab f350 for a week and then your 15 will feel like a caddy.

Carli coils and the commuter shocks or better should ride pretty nice. Probably about $1000 and fairly easy to put on yourself.

I had a 97 but an 8 ft bed and I think this truck is worse lol. I think I'm going to try the carli springs and shocks. How do I find out what size coils I need and shocks

Which fox 2.0 should I get? I see 2.0 performance and 2.0 racing. Are the 2.0 tge ones guys normally get? I like the 130 price alot better than 230 for the racing performance. I think I'm going to try the carli spring and fox shocks unless someone think theirs a better way to go for around the same price

The Fox 2.0 in the Carli package have different valving they did specifically for commuter type driving. That's what I have, with icon springs and the ride is great. I'm sure it would be even better if I swapped the coils to Carli too.

Not saying this is all of your problem, but the 22" wheels probably aren't helping. Also, have you checked your tire pressure? Shops usually max out the pressure when they install and that can make a very noticeable difference.

You can go lower than that and it'll keep getting better. Mine are at 40 just as an example. And I know other people run lower too

I'm going to lower them down to 40 tonight and see how that does. Thanks for all the replies. I think I'm going to do the carli coil and fox shocks as soon as I can get my self to pay for it lol. It prob won't be long, it gets old bracing yourself for every bump and hearing your passengers talk about how bad it rides.

I run 45F/40R on my setup in my sig. If you go to my setup it's very soft, too soft for my likes. What's your budget?

They ride a lot nicer with 1000lbs or so in the bed. A lot of it has to do with which tires you have. If you never tow with the truck you don't need 10 ply tires. To test this out go ride in an F150 with factory equipped standard load 4 ply tires, then go ride in your friends f150 with aftermarket wheels and D or E range tires. There is no comparison in ride quality.

Looking to try and not spend much more than 1000. I been looking around and the carli coil and fox commute shocks look like it's in my price range

I lowered the front to 45 and back to 40. It helped alot but I do tow some with a gooseneck around the farm so idk if I'm going to keep them their. Also I might turn this truck into a construction truck with a cap. Will the fox commute shocks be ok wit u the weight of the tools?
