running light in side mirror

2010 lariat. power everything mirrors.

running light went out on it, and before i start prying and breaking a really expensive mirror, how do you get access to the bulbs in them?

turn the glass all the way inwards. youll see a plastic tab inside. push it with a screwdriver and the lens will pop out

I was worried about changing out mine the first time as well. Just manned up and did it. Might as well do the other one to. It will no doubt burn out in a couple of weeks.

o, i'm not worried bout doing it.

i didn't know how. there is no tabs out side, or other ways to get inside of it, without getting....aggressive.

now that i know i dont have to, i don't have to worry bout breaking that really expensive mirror.
