Seized caliper?

Have a 1997 ford 350 and last night the pedal went hard and the brakes barely work when I push really hard. Any ideas?

kinda sounds like the brake booster.........

Pull the vacuum line from the booster while the truck is running and plug it with your finger and see if it's making any vacuum. The pump may have died.

Sounds like Booster of Master Cylinder, most likely booster.

check to see if your heater controls are working properly due to them running off the vacuum. If not then your pump is gone or going out. Ive had a couple die on me and it is not easy to stop my truck.
