i dont see any traction bars in your signature. could axle wrap be causing your ujoint woes?

Maybe, I feel no hoping whatsoever and the springs don't look mis-shapen or anything. I'll have my wife look and see this evening when I get home. But, the slop is definitley in the u-joints. Can rock the driveshafts by hand and see the joints move in the cups.
