Just out of curiosity what power level are the stock pistons good for? I can only imagine the power that mike was putting out when he popped his but id like to know where the limit is.

Craigs truck is still on stock pistons

not pistons that have a bunch of miles on them numnuts.

these pistons just deteriorate over time , heat, and pressure. they had 80k miles of good abuse on them, craigs are new.

ahhh that makes more sense! So im gonna say a stock piston will do 600-700 hp fuel only build? Anyhow thanks and good luck with the new build! Im looking forward to reading about it and wishing it was mineLOLLOL

it will do alot more, just no gurantees. either replace with a HD piston or machine a stock one. wish i had those, guarantee i wouldnt have a blown motor if so!
