Single s480 ???

I am almost ready to start my build and just trying to fig out which turbo I want to run . Weather I want to stick with a s 475 or go with a s480 and if anybody is running a s480 on the street. I will be running duel fueler,100 over tips,rcd intake,colt cam, ported head and work over value tran . The truck is a auto and I have plans of pulling it in a run what u brung class thank u guys

Idk I was going to talk to a couple of ppl about the convertor and stall I am going to be running a dpc and u are litting the turbo on the street and I know it's not going to have good street manner ... I have 2 other trucks I drive daily this is going to be a toy I just have to drive the truck to the track to run it in that class .

i would think you should go with a ball bearing charger to help spoolup, you should take a look at super08duty(coltons) build thread, from what ive heard he was able to drive it on the street with the right tune

Correct. I personally believe the 80 will make around the same as the 75. I never dyno'd the 80 so I can't confirm that, but from daily driving it and the track, they both felt identical as far as power being put down.

We'll I have a 475 with a 1.10 housing I could go with a smaller housing I should just stay with that then ???

I also wondered about a ball bearing turbo I was waiting to see how his build went and numbers it put down

let me know on converter, ill get you taken care of. i just had a high stall built for colton, we'll see how he likes it with the 80mm garrett he has.
