Anyone used Grizzly's small milling machines? Thinking about getting one but looking for some reviews. Not looking to spend over $900 on one either. Other brand or options welcome.
Last time I checked, $4000 > $900.
Just saying you can get so much more of a piece of equipment for the money. Stronger motor, ball screw ways, air powered quick change spindle, bigger table, variable speed instead of pulleys. You get what you pay for. A decent $900 bench top will work if you doing very small parts. Plus you can easily spend another $1000 or way more just in tooling.
Just seek out auctions, these things can go dirt cheap more than you think. Shop are still closing up all over. Just not as much as 4-5 yrs ago. You can pick up s nice Series1 Bridgeport for $1000 with a few thousand in tooling with it.
