smelling fuel

i have an old 96 powerstroke and when im done driving it and shut it off i can smell fuel even when i go away and come back after a awhile i still smell the fuel i checked the valley and no fuel and i checked my lines and i did not see any wet spots on the lines. i did put in a fuel pressure senseor on the fuel filter. its from glowshift.

Look for oily residue, dust sticking to a tiny fuel seep will show up as an oily film.

Look with a mirror underneath the mechanical pump in the valley. When the internal seal starts to go you will get a small leak from the spill port on the underside. Until it gets really bad it will just look like a film on the pump.

Could it be leaking from the water drain and dripping on the ground?
