Hey all,
I recently installed a MGP Max kit from Snow Performance and I'm having issues with quenching reguardless of the settings I use. I've talked to their techs but they basically told me to try everything that I'd already done. I'm pretty sure I'm going to need to get different size nozzles but I was wondering if anyone was a little more familar with the system and could offer any advice. Thanks for the help in advance.

At the risk of sounding like a dik..............see if you can get your money back and buy a Cooling Mist system. The pumps are far superior. The kits themselves are just better quality.

There was also a test in diesel power magazine that I saw with a 6.4 and water meth did not make any more power installed. It dropped egts a very little, but that was it. Now maybe if you have tons of left over fuel it would be different. I don't know forsure.

You should not add water / meth for power to begin with. It should be and was designed to be a temperature control system. If the test was done by diesel power using a snow system I am not suprised by the dissappointing results. That said any reduction in EGT's is a win.
