id be willing to bet part of your problem was creating a vacuum from a severe flow issue from that filter.

yeah thats what im thniking as well. im looking to buy an AFE stage 2 with the upgraded filter, as soon as i can afford it. afterr this turbo incident it set me back quite a bit

i wouldnt even go with the afe, go straight to no limit, get one from mike. when i switched to no limit it was night and day in sound and performance, I couldnt believe i waited as long as i did

Skip the AFe go with no limit. No limit has best intake on the market. Contact Mike (bigrpower) he will get ya set up. I've been waiting (and still waiting LOL) for the $ for a MW Kit / NL setup for awhile now (don't worry Mike I haven't forgot about ya haha).

I don't have the $ nor can I justify to myself to spend that kind of money for an intake on my truck. I'm sure it performs very well. But for my budget, and my needs I'm going to stick with what I can afford.

I never had a problem with my AFE intake and single 66. Now with the 71 atmo it will suck the minder in

Yea I'm gettin the afe on a good deal. Buying it slightly used. For less the. Half of what a no limit costs. Lol

try and see past the end of your nose...


what you need to realize is that no matter how tight the clamps are, you are creating MASSIVE vacuum on the turbo inlet which causes turbo damage, drastically hinders performance and fuel economy. not to mention the improved filtration with the size of the No Limit filter.


many guys who have commented in this thread, myself included, have tried mulitple intakes and know what works and what doesnt.

the 250.00 price difference wont seem like so much when you head into your second turbo rebuild...

Well I found a no limit intake system for a really really good price so in going to pick it up, a deal of a lifetime haha couldn't say no.

So I got it all back together and running with the s366. And the only thing that's got me puzzled is how to get my downpipe away from touching my firewall. Y'all got any tips? No matter what I seem to do, it's touching and the sound in the cab is loud lol
