steering a brake issues

So Sunday i pulled in the driveway with my dads excursion. i was waiting to back up and the powersteering hose blew apart. So we Replaced that and ps pump. bled it by turning wheel back and forth while koeo. fired it up and hit the brakes it howls. he said it had a little kick back..what should i look into?

Sounds like you still have some air in it. Have you tried starting it and turning block to block a few times holding it for 2-3 secs?

No I haven't.. I put power steering fluid in tho so thinking of flushing that with ATF and see what's up

I think I got it.. Issue is there's a black o ring that never got put on cause idk where it goes

If its not leaking you dont have an issue other then air in the system. Takes a bit to get it out.
