My truck had a cab off repair done for a bedplate leak. It went in steering perfectly - when I drove it off the lot there was a binding / clicking / sticking feel to the steering (both directions and not the exact same spot in wheel roatation each time).
I took it back and they inspected all front end components and decided a gearbox change was needed. My truck has bumper to bumper warranty so I said go ahead with it. The replacement was done but the issue persists. It will be going in for more analysis in a bit when I get time.
Any suggestions as to what the issue could be? I have posted on a few other sites and there are a few others experiencing similar problems.
I would swear it feels a bit like a bent column??
