Stereo head units

The lights on the display of my factory headunit are starting to go out. So i figured it's getting to be time to upgrade. I want one that will work with my factory sync, satellite radio, steering wheel controls, etc. I'll also want it to be a double din touchscreen. What are some of you guys running? Or what all is involved in putting in a factory nav system?

I run a Pioneer 8500 and am happy with it. Had to buy and extra module to play nice with steering wheel controls and sync. Steering wheel good, sync not so much.

if my factory screen goes out im buying a regular cd player with sirius capabilities and then putting a ipad or ipad mini with 4glte in my stock screen location
