So I got around to putting Steve's delta kit on while I have the truck apart for up pipes and a 66 going in. Figured I would share some pictures.

Here is the old egr delete

Here's one with it on the truck. Still waiting on some other parts to show up so I can finish it. The truck got a new oil cooler 11 months ago and I'm seeing splits of 10 degrees already. It was a new OEM oil cooler. Plan on getting some numbers, hopefully next week.

I could have done it without removing the turbo and pedestal but I'm putting a t4 mount on my truck so I decided to do it now and make life easier. Very simple to install, and the plate is pretty good quality too.

So If I have a factory cooler welded I can just buy the kit and plate and be good to go? Remove the egr completely.

Yes, but you'd need either a solid up pipe or have the little blocker plate in the stock up pipe obviously lol

Yeah true. That plate bolts into the bottom of the intake manifold right?

route the hose up behind the turbo and downpipe and run it along the heater core return. I did mine this way and you can barely see it. hides itself well.
