Stud heads?

How can I tell if my heads are studded? Why would they be? And if they aren't should I?

Just underneath the valve covers on the outside you will see a nut on a stud (12-point nut). Look on the passenger side at the front.

Look where the head bolts would be. If there is a bolt your answer is no, if there is a stud with a nut your answer is yes. Yes you should!

Haha I tell the tank operators to do this all the time when they complain about stuff. When it blows then I'll give you a new engine.
