Subs in an obs extended cab

Anybody here ever lifted the back seat to fit subs underneath? I really wanted to do this at one point, but I hat the idea of losing the ability to lay the back seat down.. :shrug:

I have heard of people lifting them a few inches to clear certain sub box heights.

Some ppl just put a box in the center of the backseat on the floor, then just move it when they want to flip the seat up.

There is a shallow box made for our trucks, but i'm pretty sure you gotta shim the seat up some. I have a friend that built a huge box that takes up the whole back seat, guess its one way to keep people from wanting rides. LOL

Funny you should mention that.. I definitely have a 5 cubic foot box for a 15 sitting on my back seat. Lol. It really doesn't get in the way of anything. But it bothers me it doesn't look good. I would post a couple pictures, but I have no idea how from my phone :shrug:

Had a box behind the driver seat in mine for ever. Kept people from talking in my ear when going places. Also offered a nice massage.

i have been wandering the samething i have thought about under the center seat in the front but havent really dug into it that much and i have been trying to watch and see what other guys are doing
