Super Duty 2WD suspension swap

Has anyone put super duty (99-04 or 05+) 2wd suspension on an obs with a matching rear axle? I love my obs with 02 axles and hydro boost on it but I'd like a 2wd for a dd just because it would be easier to get in and out of.

It should be very similar to the 05+ 4x4 swap, same coil buckets and same mounts to the frame for the radius/control arms. I would think the difference would be no trac bar mount and you would have to make mounts where the two half's of the axle pivot in the middle. Shouldn't be to bad at all.

Shouldn't all the brackets be there and be close to the same if I was to go from a obs 2wd set up to a SD 2wd set up? My main reason to change the front would be to have the same bolt pattern and track width as the rear axle.

Why bother? Its the same basic stuff from obs to sd if I'm not mistaken.

For the disc brakes in the back. When I did my current truck I could of had $1k into a 10.5 converted to 8x6.5 or spend $1300 on both axles. I think it would be cheaper to do bother the front an back on a 2wd as well.

you can disc brake the 10.25 using econoline parts for way under a grand

Read somewhere SD hubs / rotors will go on our 2wd spindles...??? Been a while, thought about it on one 2wd truck I had.
