The Zombie Squad urban assault vehicle doesn't fit between the lines anymore. Shame.

Id much rather have an old 454 big block or any gasser in a truck like that then the 6.2 or 6.5... the most those have ever been built to was 500hp.. thousands of dollars and machine/man hours later. Its is a good lookin ol truck though. Nice job!

A mild SBC for now, nothing wrong with a 6.2 though, unless you want it for power, it makes a great reliable MPG machine in a lighter truck, just don't expect to get much power out of one, and if you try, don't expect it to last.

I've pondered the thought of a 12v swap, but hell, a NV4500 trans and adapter for the NP205 would cost more than the 12v. If I kept the current trans it wouldn't stand a chance all at 3500 rpm on the highway. When I get my 67 project truck and my 69 Blazer finished up, this one will be the next to get a LQ4 6.0, stock it makes more than a BBC of the era, and is stupid easy to get more power out of, and will be more than happy revving with my 1:1 final SM465 and 4.10 rear.
