Seen today on Facebook (lead foot diesel performance)
They had a customer being in his home grown stockturbo/super charger setup to get it cleaned up & running correctly.
Just thought I'd post up & share.
Nice to see people doing different things to the dead platform.

Cool but it needs a much bigger blower like a 3.4l Whipple or something to make it worth while imo.

How could someone come up with a drunk idea like that and stay that drunk for THAT LONG while constructing it and actually finishing it before realizing it was a horrible idea?

the supercharged/turbo'd trucks run AWESOME tyler who isnt around much had one and that thing ran like a raped ape.. truck was awesome.. made boost at idle damn near lol

I don't think I have ever seen that version (whipple) of a charger used..most use the Paxton style.

Dint the root style chargers perform better all around? Really the only pro/supercharger ive been around was the owner of my company's f150 with a pro charger. The truck was daily driven, and constantly had problems with the pro charger. The guy didnt beat the hell out of it either. We keep a spare on hand now for when the one messes up on his truck. Its been swapped 5 or 6 times at least since 2010... I would not want something that unreliable
