superduty 3" plenums

Putting superduty plenums on my 94.5. I knew there would be extra holes. But the extra holes are into the opening in the head? I know people do this all the time.....

After some more searching.....
I thought all obs had the 8 bolt plenums, not just the late 94-early 95. Guess I will order some 8 bolt from irate. I understand I can weld the holes shut as well.

You can make a set of valve cover clamps simular to what the aftermarket supplies for small block chevys. They would bridge over the extra holes. My buddy did this and they worked out well.

Also, if you are using the stock turbo, the drivers side plenum needs to be dinged a bit for clearance under the turbo.
