So my 99 Fummins has a dodge Dana 80 rear axle.Front is a Dana 60 with unit bearings and adapters from 8x170mm to 8x6.5 lug pattern.
I acquired a 95 ball joint Dana 60 set of knuckles.I already know the knuckles will swap. The superduty axle tie rods sit on top of the knuckle and OBS axle the tie rods sit on the bottom. My question is has anyone re-drilled and re-tapered the Knuckles to accept the new style tie rods ?
Or alternative All Heim Joints?
I am trying to keep it simple if I can reuse the superduty Tie rods. That way If i need replacing I can get them at any local parts store.

Sell the 95 knuckles, IIRC they were going for about $500 when I was looking a few years ago. Redrill the SD for 8x6.5. If your worried about strength, convert the unit bearings to a Dynatric free spin kit. That way you keep the stronger SD parts without having to reinvent the wheel. That would also give you more options for larger brakes and ABS if it still works with the swap.

Already done the re-drill on a previous truck didn't like that i had to re-drill a hub every time it went out also had to machine the hub down every time
I don't wanna spend $1500 or more on the Dynatrac system
The truck was originally a 2wd so ABS doesn't work on the front
Nothing to reinvent Just looking for a simple part
