Alright im getting older and less attracted with having a lifted truck and a rough ride.
Currently i have 6" of lift overall with 35" tires. This was done with stock f350 leafs on all corners and a 3" sky fsk kit upfront and a 4.5" sky rsk in rear.
Id like to drop down to stock height but still be able to run 35"s.
Currently im thinking of 4-linking the rear with semi airbags and upfront 4-linking with coils.

Let me know if im on crack and if theres a better way to get a much smoother ride.

I'm using a pmf 2.5 rsk with v and b code factory springs front and rear, new bilstein shocks and couldn't be happier with the ride, its a Cadillac compared to the stock set up, and I fit toyo 315 75 16 mt's with no problem

Had a talk with a few mech engineers and my financial manager (the wife), i gotta balance cost and benefit of this suspension.
Will the V and B code spring be easy to find? Or will I be looking at getting a set of Deavers or Icons?
I know the cost of coil-overs will cost more than a set of new leafs, however with proper link fab and geometry the coils will give a nicer ride.
Id love to put a full airbag suspension on it but the truck is a +270k mile '96 sclb... and the trucks not a show rig.

got all my factory parts from sunrise here on the boards. dieselbrad/bradbilt or a couple extras are the pro's on this deal. just search for pmf rsk and there is ton's of threads.

I really couldn't be happier with the way mine rides, it took out all the harshness and now its so smooth.

also look up coushunter or cousehunter, he did his also for 37's I think it was and he was very happy with the results and used icon's on the rear.

I'm sure air bags would be pretty costly

Could sell all the suspension and axles and go to 05 axles with a built in coil set up. You would break even when done. 2.5" level coils and 5" blocks will clear 35s. Or no blocks and 5" Deaver springs

Im looking to get away with blocks. That PMF rsk is nice may turn to that and ditch my SKY.
Any tips on finding new or gently used B/V/X code superduty leafs?

sunrise ford has them brand new, and you might be close enough to pick up. they shipped them for 50.00 per pair.

I run 285 on my 350 with no lift during the summer, 35's fit just fine even without a lift and are on my set of winter wheels.

Installed a PMF RSK 2.5" up front and an Add a leaf and 5.5" Block in the rear on my friends welding rig that has 1500lbs in the bed at all times. Turned out better than I expected and would easily fit 37s or bigger. The PMF kit was as good as it gets for fitup, and worth every penny.
