Just picked up a DashDaq XL from River City Diesel to use as a monitor. So far, just monitoring rail pressure on it. Doesn't seem to be a big list of things to watch like I had thought. I haven't seen anywhere to enter vehicle information yet. Going to try reading the manual when I get time, but for now I'm looking for any tips, advice or input on this thing. Does it ever turn off? Lol. Also wouldn't mind seeing some mounting options. It's in an 08 6.4 if that helps.
Thanks,
Brad

Both of what you are looking for are in the options, just have to play around to find it. As far as mounting, I have mine low so its not out in the open and easy to see. My door was broken, so I just cut a piece of plastic to fit the hole.

Edit, you have to turn ford specific pids on in the options

Edit, just realized 6.4psd above me mentioned already about reading the "ford specific" versus the general "obd2".

Had a bit of time to fuss with it today. Figured out how to get the Ford specific PIDs. Much better. What does everyone usually monitor?

It's a modified mount for an edge tuner. I cut the inside larger with a dremmel tool.

Correct mine is the old style. It will work with the new one it has to mount to the front of the pod instead of recessed inside.

Yes he is.. he's new here. Cut him some slack.

Yes the Spartan DashDaq is better than a CTS. It and a H&S mini max are basically the best tuners out there for a 6.4

I wasn't trying to be a smart @ss. I just wanted to make sure I understood the question. Sorry.
