time to replace front u-joints and have questions

Ok time to replace my front u-joints any tips? Do you need to pull the spindle off? How about getting the shafts out? Do you need to take the diff cover off?

no one has replaced there front u-joints?

What year?

The hubs need to come off so you can get the shaft out but the spindle can stay on. Diff cover doesn't need to come off

looking for info for both a 99 F350 and a 06 F250

Should be similar pull the 4wd hubs pull the caliper amd hubs then the axle comes out
You will need to get the big seal on the axle for the back of the spindle that seals the hub

thanks for the help Dzchey21. Going to fix both trucks after hours and want to make sure we have all the parts needed or one/both of us will be walking home lol
