Timed Dome Lights?

So are the interior lights on a timer by chance?

I was sitting in the truck for a while and went to turn on the dome light, and it wouldn't, opened the door and every thing worked again.

Yea. Just incase you forget to turn it off it won't kill your battery.

Well that kinda bones me... :fustrate:

I installed a large solar panel earlier this year and hard wired into the dome light circuit to charge the batteries when I don't used the truck as this is a pull truck not a DD. I was tired of others not plugging in the cord to the power point, tripping over the cord, slamming it in a door...

I guess I'm off to go re wire it...
