Tinting taillights with BLIS

Has anyone that has tinted their blis taillights noticed any degradation in detection, especially when a trailer is attached and it shifts its detection to the end of the trailer? I wouldn't think clear would cause any issues but my painter is concerned about it, so I thought I'd reach out for some actual experience with it for the folks that have done it. Thanks for the help guys.

I haven't noticed any difference
