Tire width question

So I’ve always run the tire size that came stock which is 275/70R18 but I’m curious about bumping to a 300 or 325/65R18. Any expected change in MPG? I’m hoping wider will give a little more stick when punching the accelerator

Also looking at Falken wild peak a/t3w or a nitro grappler variation. I’m mostly on roads but do get into mucky water here in south Florida from time to time

Weight of the tire will have more effect on fuel mileage than width. The friction in a tire is from the sidewall, not the tread, so a wider tire of the same weight should, in theory have no effect on fuel mileage.
