I am 99% ready to drop the $ on this kit. Has any body ran it? I have searched and searched and have found nothing. Right now I am stock fuel and like the idea of High Powers but lack the funds. I am thinking I could run this kit and in the future upgrade the VGT and maybe add dual fuelers. Normaly I'm not one to question myself but the lack of info is killing me.:ford:

Well boss i'm in the process of getting the tow x setup for my ride as soon as it shows up from Elite. I couldn't find much on it but i do know the pedestal is machined down some for the atmosphere. Now i would be just guessing but im pretty sure you could just get the atmo and pedestal and bolt it up. But like I said i'm just guessing. I would PM Wayne, Tadd, or Nathannial and see what light they can shed on this for you. By the way i love that avatar distracting though!

To run just the tow x atmo you would need the machined pedistal, the custom casting mount for the vgt to connect to the atmo turbo, custom oil feed lines, and a custom drain tube. I would just spend the extra 2000 and get the complete kit now. Rather than doing it again down the road. I've got the complete tow x setup with 30% nozzles and dual fuelers. It's a good runner but I haven't got to try out the gearhead files yet since I'm having to replace my block because the other once cracked. Check out my build thread for any info on the tow x. There's been quite a lot of talk there

The Tow Power X Atmo kit comes with everything to connect to the factory VGT. I was thinking I could run just the Precision 76mm for awhile the upgrade to the High Power VGT and dual fuelers down the road.

I wasn't aware that they had a separate kit

Pretty sure you can. I think your cross over piping will need to be modified to work and you will need a new hot side pipe for the 62mm VGT. I cant remember if the VGT needs a clearanced rocker box or not. Maybe Wayne will chime in. Regardless, it's not out of the question to do. I was going to do the same thing you are, on mine originally.

Alright since you guys are no help I'm just going to go ahead and do it. I do have one more ? Elite or RCD on the intake manifold. The shop I get the manifold from I will also get the Turbo kit from.

Elite. Nothing against RCD but the ZMAX is fully ported, and the RCD manifold is not. Both help for sure, don't get me wrong.

PM heavyhaul on here, he has the 76 over stock VGT on his 450. (His was actually the prototype if I remember correctly).

Going with the 62 later will require rocker box clearance, like mentioned before, a fuel bowl delete and a different turbo to turbo pipe as the 62 will require a 4". As far as intake manifolds, either one will do for what your asking. I had the z max and HP's in stock fuel on my old CCSB and loved it.

Edit- N/M on PMing heavyhaul, he has the 59 VGT.
