Trailer Brake Module

I bought a factory trailer brake module from a PSA member. I just installed it and I'm getting a trailer brake module fault message at key on. Are these plug and play?

Mine did that and I found a bad ground on the trailer that fixed it for a while. It still does it periodically but the brakes still work.

It needs to be reflashed.
