So just started few days ago when I'd hit a bump, close the door or open and close the cubby hole door. I keep getting trailer disconnected message on the dash. I've checked all the wiring at the trailer plug for dirt etc and it's ok. I can smack the dash or the controller and it keeps saying same thing trailer disconnected. It's real annoying while driving. I tried to unplug the unit but then I get a TBC fault message that won't go away.
I don't tow a trailer or even use the trailer brakes. How can I disable or make it quit beeping and message popping up?
