There are 3 fuses for the trailer plug. Running lights, brake and turn signal lights, and brake controller. I know this only because my trailer running lights **** the bed on a trip while towing the jet skis, at night, and I had to use all my kem lights as running lights from Missouri to NC.... Brake lights and turns worked fine. I was baffled, and figured it was a short.... I brought it in under warranty, and they informed me of that, and replaced the fuse. I dont know the pin location though. They are all three together, from what they said.

I am sure its position 42 under the hood fuse box, it was on mine anyway. All other lights worked except trailer running lights when this fuse is blown. Not sure if my eariler post was not seen or what but give that fuse a look. It should be a pink 30A, hope it helps

Just an FYI for everybody including me that dosnt have a manual. owner.ford.com register there for free and enter your vehicles. It has pdfs of manuals and lets you know of recalls as well.

Mine has also done this. The block is under the vaccum pump on the drivers side, took me a minute to find it. Has a small tab to turn to release the pump, real fun the first time in the dark.
