hey guys,
Was driving and my tranny gave up the ghost. Was looking for some insight on what I should be looking for. I think it's maybe just the linkage or something.
It a full race Suncoast, wasn't hot rodding too hard around. Tenant had no history of slipping, or slamming. Got on the highway and gave her some right foot and heard a bang/pop and then was just revs. no slipping, just nothing. It makes a slight whining noise while idling, and if I rev it. I tried to put it into 4wd, and there was no change.
Any ideas? I'm gonna give Suncoast a call on Monday and see what they say. Tranny is 5 years old, 60k miles. Been to the strip 2-3 times in its early life, and that's about it.
