Do you guys take your trucks to the dealership to have the transmission flushed and filled? Or do you do it yourself?

i dont flush as it upsets any settled material in the cooler that once flushed can clog solenoids etc and cause trans damage.

The only proper way to flush a 5R110 is by utilizing a heated flow machine.... which some dealerships have. Mark will probably chime in here and provide further input.

Pull pan, change solenoid, change filter (depending on job# for location), reinstall clean pan, refill with mercon lv or whatever. It's easy, I can even do it.

Got a whole case of Lv last week & all the filter for a job 1. Only got 48k but I'm not original owner, I've done all my other mods. Thanks
