Trans not shifting

So today, went to pass a utility truck on the road and the truck wouldnt upshift. Threw a wrench code (which i deleted while on the shoulder of the road). To try and get the truck running again. Ran it in overdrive off mode and was fine going back on the road, but when i stopped and accelerated again, it did the same thing. Kinda felt like when my boot ripped. I never recorded what the wrench code was... But i remember one was about my brake, and the other was about trans not upshifting, and trans friction... Not a lot of info but any help would be appreciated as this is now my only truck. Since erasing the code hasnt came back, but the stall is still there. Truck is now parked at my work place

Correction: p0703 brake switch B input circuit
And now showing p1000 OBD system readiness test not complete. Cant get the trans code to pop back up

You cleared the codes. They are not going to reappear until the problem happens again. Until you tell me the codes all I can tell you is that something is wrong some of the time.

I just had the P0703 code. I replaced the brake pressure switch and that fixed that. I could not use cruise control, and for me, with no ankles, presents a problem. I asked Jeff from Spartan, and he did a search for me, and another guy had that issue, and that was his fix. DUN... No more issues.

I have not had your issue with the trans though... Who are you using for tuning?

thanks guys. i will be replacing the BPS soon. I guess thats why i have no cruise control lol! As for tranny, she had no oil in her.... u bet i was pretty pissed because she was just at the dealership 1 week ago getting a full service. They took the truck in that day and put in a new trans. Truck is running like a champ today and at no charge to me :toast: as for tuning i run spartan.

Yeah, my cruise would go out, intermittenly, and I was getting the ass.... As soon as I replaced it, and reconncted the batteries, she was good to go. As far as them not checking and filling the oil in your trans.... OUCH.... At least they are making it right...
