Trans pump ?

is there a better pump for the Trans then the stock one?? I thought I read some place BTS has one..my Trans was rebuild about 3,000 miles ago but shifts felt kind of weak with DP tunes before I parked it..the pump was never replaced during the re build.. :cursing: I do have the BTS VB in there with a billet, triple disk TC...motor and Trans are out right now but will be going back in soon...

No nobody makes any pumps for the 4r100 other than stock. There are things that can be changed in the pump. But I would have who ever tunes your truck firm the shifts up some with the tuning.

How many hp did you tell bts to tune your vb for?

thanks guy's.. DP tuned my last run with 180/100 and a GTP38R... getting motor together as we speak with mod's in my sig and gear head tunes this go time around...

I'm talkin about the valve body in your trans.

i dont think he ever asked me..at the time i got it (about 6 years ago) i was stock other then the DP tunes...i do have a brand new sonnox VB ... should i try to run that this go around??

there are things that can be done to improve flow and improve the pump but no option as far as a upgraded replacement

something about a spring and ball correct?? i cant seem to find any threads on it..i was thinking of drilling the VP plate just a bit bigger too.. but dont want to over do it.. the trans is just not my thing..

i cant remember exactly. there was a passage extended? or something.. a friend of mine that used to build all the trans here in town for the diesel shop built mine and i remember him doing something to it.
