I've been having issues with keeping my trans temps down on my 2000 f350. The truck has 183,000 and have around 50k on the rebuilt trans with a billet torque converter and am running a PHP hydra. While driving in the highway at around 70-75 my trans will get up to 180 after about a hour and keeps slowly going up to the point where I stop and let it cool down. I installed a 6.0 trans cooler on it just recently and thought it may solve the problem but it has not.
Could it be the radiator fan clutch not engaging and causing not enough air flow?
