Truck Died Yesterday Morning

Yesterday morning, my truck started running like it was only hitting on 4 cylinders, then died. I used my crappy little SCT to scan for codes and I got P0340. P0732 and P0733. I've put two new CPS' in the truck and it won't even try to start. It's not throwing those 3 codes again, so I don't know what else to do. I'm in Queens. NY and no way to scan or data log other than the SCT programmer. Any ideas? Is AE updated for Windows 10 yet?

AE works on Windows 10, but I had to upgrade to the newest version. Others have had their version work on 10 without any issues.

That seems like a weird combination of codes. A cps and two transmission codes.

All the wires look good? Any chafing?

Any chance you have a spare IPR?
I'm not too far from you....so worst case we can get your rig out of queens to a more secure spot. Let me know if me and the boys can help

Jason

Also....did you try starting the rig with the ICP unplugged?

Thanks, Jason. The truck is in a pretty secure location: my hotel parking lot. I have not tried cranking with the ICP unplugged. I also forgot to check RPM's while cranking. I'll be doing both when I get off of work.

No, I don't have a spare IPR. I've got 300K on both the ICP and IPR.

Unless you have a scanner RPM will not register on the 02-03 7.3Ls until it starts. I'm assuming WTS light is normal and fuses are good?

Okay. I just got off of the phone with AE and will have the updated version of AE to install on my computer, so I should be able to start scanning and data logging.

I got a IPR if you need one. You could check to make sure oil is in the Rez.

Okay. I ran the key on engine off test just now and I got a P1298 IDM failure. I'm running the Swamps Hv/HF IDM. Could this be a wiring harness issue?

Are you building ICP? Are injectors clicking while cranking?

If it's not even starting, I don't think the UVCH are the issue.. Unless both sides got disconnected.

I'm leaning towards IPR.

Well, I had one battery test bad. Replaced it and, after a few hard cranks, it built up ICP and started up.

Ran a cylinder contribution test and got a P0263 cylinder 1 circuit contribution/balance fault. Mean anything?
