truck shaking

For some reason if I hit a bump in my truck it'll have a wobble to it, it did it alot on the highway when I'd hit expansion joints and big bumps in the road. It went away for a month or 2 until it started doing it again today. front end is tight with new balljoints so I'm stumped:shrug: any ideas what it could be? trucks a 2000 f350 4x4

the trac bar itself or the bushings? and would the slight "clunk" I have point to a trac bar?

Im thinking the bushings... Take a look at them and see just how it looks

If the bushings are cracked there bad right?

like there's cracks in the rubber

More than likely that is your issue and it is a cheap fix

(While your doing it I would consider a steering stabilizer kit as well just to take care of anything that may arise)

Nvm saw that in the original post. Could be the trac bar, the clunk can be stab links.

It's a 2000. and hopefully it fixes it, not really sure what else could cause it. and thank you for your help patrikke

my stab links are brand new

I just looked at the bushings and they look fine

Hmm... Any slop on any front end components?

Check all front end play, tie rods, ball joint, everything. Check tire pressure as well

Checked front end when I did balljoints 2not weeks ago and everything was tight. I did just notice im missing weights on my front wheels. Could that cause it?

You can get tire shake out of poorly balanced tires

With out of balance tires you would notice a shake other times then just a bump..

The thing that really confuses meis that since I did balljoints it didn't shake til today
