The truck shut down around the corner from my house last night. It cranked twice more but would die immediately after. Had it towed up the street to my driveway.

Thought it might have been the angle I was parked in at the store because the fuel light had just come on. There was a hiccup when I tried to start the truck, but rolled over anyway. Filled it with 7 gallons of diesel, primed the system and nothing.

The only code it's throwing is a P2291 - Injector Control Pressure: Too low, Engine Cranking. I saw this code about a week ago after I got the fuel filters changed. Cleared it and hasn't come back until last night.

The DD is showing little to no FRP, but no fuel pump codes.

Any ideas? Thanks

So did you run it out of fuel?

No, the fuel light came on when I left the store. It wasn't chugging like it was out of fuel. It did hesitate for a second when cranking.

Don't remember the procedure for bleeding the system. Saw it done once but its been a while.
