Truck stalled

Hey there, I had my truck quit on me while I was going up a hill. I was playing around and floored it, truck shifted and then it died. Not sure if draining the rails would do this or a problem with the trans? Truck fired up just fine, runs and drives fine. Truck is a 14 running spe tunes. No codes were found.
