I have a 2009 F250 Harley edition. All ******d and H&S tuned. About a month ago I was idling fueling up went in store came out and truck was shut off. Went to start, only cranked. I believe it was the low pressure airdog fuel pump that finally quit. Since I haven't heard the pump motor turn on in awhile. So I replaced the pump motor and truck still only cranks. Any feedback would be great!

If the relay was bad wouldn't the pump not run?

Does the pump run now? if so, bleed the fuel system by cracking a banjo fitting on the fuel cooler. i can almost be certain you are fighting an airlock.

also, what is rail pressure doing while cranking?

On the Fuel cooler don't you just press in that plastic nipple to bleed it?

Couldn't tell in your initial post if it ran or not since new pump motor install. If it comes on turn key no start etc...rule it out. Also if you have mini maxx check your diagnostics for any codes.

so with the key on and the pump running, crack the banjo on the fuel cooler. if bubbles come out, keep cycling the key and cracking it until straight fuel comes out. only whne you see straight fuel, try to crank the engine. set your mini maxx up so you can see what rail pressure is doing during cranking.

And if it's not bleeding anything it's a pump issue or suction issue

yep, it would be a pump issue. bear in mind it may take dozens of key cycles to get the air out unless your airdog is wired in to run constantly when the jkley is on. the factory pumps only pump for a few seconds prior to starting.
