Trying to convert dual alternator to single

Hey, if anyone can help me figure this out I would appreciate it. I have had bad problem with battery v on my truck. I use to get 14.2v all the time, now I get 13.8 at start up and after 5 min 12.8 to 13.5. I have put 3 main alternators on and each time they stop working, and it runs off secondary. So I looked up how to get rid of secondary and just use main one, I'm doing compounds soon anyway and need the room. But now that I did the rewire on pins for secondary harness, it started working okay bit still low 13.5v and now it's only charging at 12 so really not working. Do I have to use a different alternator, like from a factory single alternator truck? Help would be greatly appreciated

Okay I really need info! Put my 4th alternator on and did amazing 14v almost constant. Ran truck up the road about 40 miles, cut truck off and back on, no charging again. If someone could post pictures of there alternator loop plug? Beside passenger side battery. Here's what I did
