Ts 6 position chip problem

I bought a Ts 6 position chip from you guys and I got my computer retuned and recoated, I tried at the least 20 times scratching off a little more from it and I got down to copper, than I switched the computer with Marty and he has the same chip in his truck and I tried plugging it in to my truck with his computer and I did not get a wait to start light
