Turbo install tips

Anybody have any good tips or tricks to get the old turbo out and anything else that will help the install of a aftermarket turbo.

Get a second hand to lift it out.
Be carful not to damage the O ring on the metal coolant pipe.
You may have to remove the exhaust manifolds to remove the up pipes
Cover all intake and or exhaust manifold openings when they get exposed
It's a tight squeeze to get the turbo out but it will come out.. It's easier if there's no egr.

Tip 1: talk to "dseitler" he walked me thru mine pretty well.

I've heard from others to pull the waste gate actuator off the turbo which makes pulling the old one out pretty easy....

Can anyone help me out with torque specs?

I think the h&s turbo kit instructions had torque specs. I used those instructions to remove my stock stuff and for some.torque specs

Lol not a bad idea but I got days at work I need to burn up during a week it is nice outside. And I wana say I did that when it's done.

What kit did you get?
